Main Projects Underway or Recently Completed (with publications in process):

12/1/21-11/30/26: NSF-funded project on “Predicting impacts of coastal species redistribution in a changing climate” which includes fieldwork along the coast of California and Baja California, Mexico, lab experiments, and population modeling, to understand and predict impacts of range expanding predatory whelks, along with a global synthesis of marine range shift impacts.

4/1/18-3/31/22: NSF-funded project with publications ongoing on “Effects of multiple aspects of climate change on marine biodiversity and ecosystem functioning” (with co-PIs Matt Bracken UCI, Kristy Kroeker UCSC, Luke Miller SDSU) Previous updates from the field given on Twitter at #SitkaNSF
